| All those in attendance enjoyed good food, good fellowship and numerious great activities. Monday ~ after registration and getting settled in for the week, we enjoyed an Italian Buffet for Dinner. Comedian Lee Allen was the evenings Entertainment. Tuesday ~ after a breakfast buffet some of us trecked down to Stocktons Miniature Golf. Sue Epler, Golf Manager, was able to get us all paired into foursomes. Marty Waltman, Charlie Hoke were tied for first place with Jerry Ross following close behind. Sonja Lucas received the “Good Sport Award”. In the afternoon we were able to enjoy a Trolley Tour of Cape May, Water Aerobics or just relaxing on the beach or by the pool. Some die hard shoppers probably enjoyed a stroll down to Washington Street for some shopping. Wednesday ~ morning was spent relaxing or doing whatever we wished with our free time. In the afternoon, some of us braved the threat of rain and went for a “Whale/Dolphin Boat Ride”. After having the Dolphins entertain us, we headed back to our hotel, and prepared for the evening show. Wednesday evening was our theme evening and this year the theme was Halloween. Audrey Brozena was sporting the winning costume. She was ready for Mardi Gras. Our entertainment was by Debi Wahl and Company presenting the show “Monster Mash”!! Thursday ~ morning some of us headed to BINGO. We all enjoyed the bingo games and some enjoyed the great prizes. I do believe that Doris and Sue Epler should check a few of the Bingo balls to make sure they don’t have water in them. After an afternoon of free time and a delicious meal we were entertained by Karaoke with Keith Smith. Several of our members enjoyed singing and dancing. Friday ~ all packed, enjoying a breakfast buffet, saying our goodbye’s and making plans for next year we all headed home. Living on memories of Cape May until we see you next year, I do hope the pictures below will help your remember the great week we had and entice you back to make more memories. Our theme for 2011 will be “Cruise To Cape May.” Theme night will be “Pirates of the Caribbean.” |
