Twelve kits for the homeless were delivered to St. Matthews Church in East Stroudsburg. Every Saturday the church has a warming center for the homeless. In December we bought 26 children coats and donated them to the Salvation Army. We also collected hats, gloves and scarfs that were given to Salvation Army for the children and youth. Every month at our meeting we collect non perishable food items and donate them to a food bank in our area. Every Thursday we sponsor a bingo at Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home. We continue to make baby hats for the hospitals, lap robes for the nursing homes and saddle bags for the rehab centers. We collect cell phones and give them to women resources. |
