Hug-A-Bears and Hats with Hugs  Hug-A-Bears  Hats with Hugs Several of our Clubs put their crafty talents to work by knitting Cancer Hats (Hats with Hugs) to be given to various area Hospital Cancer Centers while others put their sewing talents to work by sewing and stiffing Hug-A-Bears to be distributed to various Hospital Emergency Rooms, Township/Borough Police Departments and the Pennsylvania State Police.

| Painting maps on school playgrounds
If you are recently retired and have some time to spare, we need your help in the Spring to help us paint maps of the US on school playgrounds. The maps are used to help teach children geography. Each Pioneer Club also makes bean bags to use for the games which are played as the kids learn state capitals and more. Please call the Chapter Office 800-322-6710 for the name of your local contact. This is a fun project! |
